The purpose of this project was to design a piece that would show my potential employers and clients what I could offer them as a designer. After several explorations, I decided to create a booklet that tells a story about how I process information, organize it and translate it into visual forms. There were 5 sets of images in the book and each set represented a type of puzzle. Using “puzzle” as an analogy of how unorganized information could lay out in front of us in 5 different scenarios, I demonstrated my ability to “discover the clues” and “solve the puzzle”. Each solved puzzle was meant to be an image related to aesthetics, creativity or design. Each word or image in this book was consciously put in with its intended meaning. Every image was connected by neurons, another analogy I used in this book to illustrated my thinking process.
